Photo Walk: Slow it Down and Pay Attention to the Details
Today’s Photo Walk was taken in the Texas Hill Country between Austin and San Antonio. This vacation and retirement hot spot, Wimberley, TX, is known for its steady climate, beautiful country-side, low crime rate and cost of living, easy-going lifestyle and opportunities to get involved in the community.
This field was full of butterflies saving up energy to take the next step on their journey north.
Take a closer look… can you tell which of the spots on the stems are leaves and which are butterflies?
This photo was taken standing on the deck inches away from the river. Look closely — that is a reflection, not the real tree.
Same view, just a different angle. The river serves as a huge, smooth reflecting pool
Another few steps backwards…. What a peaceful place to sit and watch the leaves float by on the river.
No more than 10 feet to the right we found this planter
No more than 10 feet to the left, another peaceful rest spot. Seems like the thing to do in the Texas Hill Country.
Don’t forget to stop and enjoy the details — there are too many cool things to see right in front of us.
